CHAPTER TWO - EVEN THE BEST LAID PLANS MUST BE CHANGED Original Journal Post  The  first morning was begun with a beautiful fog to look through from my 11th floor corner room in the Marriott Courtyard next to the famous classical architectural monument, the Philly city hall. Going to the American Creativity Association Conference was a warm up for my trip. Some of my international friends were there from Taiwan, Singapore, Denmark, Italy, Canada. Looking back from 2018 I see that I forgot to write a journal piece about when I arrived at the Marriott Courtyard the afternoon the day before. Remember I had a detailed plan.  I had a great deal of experience traveling internationally  since 1977 over 26 years to 30+ countries in 4 continents already. Chapter One - Philly First Stop My Journal Entry Hello Virtual Traveling Friends I am typing away answering messages today in my first internet cafe with American rap music booming away all around me. I spent 5 days in Philadelphia. The first morning was begun with a beautiful fog to look through from my 11th floor corner room in the Marriott Courtyard next to the famous classical architectural monument, the Philly city hall. new TRAVEL book Since 1977 I have been traveling internationally.  So far 93 countries.  Some of them 5, 10, 15, 20 times so far. This blog will contain the original rough drafts of chapters about my 110 day trip around Europe, parts of Eastern Europe, Egypt and throughout the UK and my improvements written now looking back from 2017 after 40 years of more traveling. Thank you for visiting the blog. The book will contain my travel journal notes and photos retracing my 24 country trip beginning in June of 1977 and ending in September.  The joys. The pains. The fantastic experiences. The horrible ones. This will be one book of a collection about my varied trips to foreign countries and about some of my 12 trips completely around the world since 2001.
